Android Instant App: How to Run Android Apps Without Installing Them

Just tap the URL  and the apps open even if the user doesn’t have the full app installed.<br /><br />This is the world the god of the network intend to offer you … the world called instant App!<br />Google realized that downloading an app is a real pain in the ass sometimes when you don't want to install the complete app on your smartphone.<br /><br />Announced at Google I/O event on Wednesday, Android Instant Apps will break down the walls between websites and Android apps by allowing people to tap on a URL and open an Android app instantly, without even having to install it.</div>

Meet Samsung’s First Android Device With Iris Recognition Security

For those who don’t know, Iris recognition or Iris scanner (whichever name rocks your boat), is an automated method of bio-metric identification that uses mathematical pattern-recognition techniques on video images of one or both the irises of an individual’s eyes, whose complex random patterns are unique, stable, and can be seen from some distance – Source: Wikipedia.<br /><br />The Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris apparently sports a mid-range device based on specs, however, it’s iris security system sets it apart. The tablet was produced by Samsung India as part of Government’s ‘make for Indian’ program. According to Samsung, it’s ‘advanced iris recognition technology’ will solve the hassle of having to use separate devices for bio-metric identification, and envisions making services like income tax filing, property registration, passenger verification as well as passport renewal virtually paperless.<br /><br /><br /><br />Looking at the specs of the Samsung Tab Iris, the device features a 7-inch 600 × 1024 resolution display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal storage which can be expanded using SD cards, 5 megapixels auto-focus rear camera and is priced around $199. Going by the specs, it is okay to consider the device as more of a utility device than a performance device.<br /><br />Who knows, maybe Samsung might incorporate the Iris recognition security system on the upcoming Galaxy Note 6. Just maybe!<br />

Blackberry has no plans to develop handsets for its own operating system, BB10, but will continue to issue updates for existing devices.Its sales fell by almost $200m in the three months to the end of February. Mr Chen said its first Android device, the blackberry Priv, had been too expensive.</div>

"The fact that we came out with a high-end phone was probably not as wise as it should have been," he told United Arab Emirates news website the National.<br />

"A lot of enterprise customers have said to us, 'I want to buy your phone, but $700 [£491] is a little too steep for me. I'm more interested in a $400 device.'"<br />

Mr Chen had previously blamed the company's poor sales figures on delays in negotiations with mobile networks about its Priv handset.<br />

Last month, Facebook and its Whatsapp messaging service announced they were to stop supporting their Blackberry apps.<br />
<br />
Blackberry said it was "extremely disappointed" by the decision.<br />
<br />
"If Blackberry is determined to remain in the hardware business, the decision to offer new devices with mid-range pricing is a sensible move," said analyst Ben Wood from CCS Insight.</div>
